    Song of Passage: Exhibition/Reception

    Through mid-March, Sculpture Garden

    The Studios of Key West welcomes proposals from artists who would like to present an exhibition at TSKW from January 1 - May 1 each year for the following season. Please see the "Proposal" tab at top of this website for specific instructions.

    Two new exhibitions will be celebrated at the February 2 reception. Light of Florida, in the main hall, consists of nearly 60 photographs taken by members of the Florida chapters of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). Keys Eyes, opening in Space 2, is a collection of photographs of Key West taken by Bill Luchsinger and Karen Strohbeen, two long-time visitors to the island.

    Intimate access to the working studios of several of the island’s best-known artists.


    Friends of the Library Series

    Jan 9-March 26, Monday evenings at 6 pm
    The Friends of the Key West Library proudly sponsor a weekly lecture series every year from mid-January to the beginning of April. The popular series is free and open to the public. Previous speakers include former U.S. Poets Laureate Maxine Kumin and Billy Collins, authors James Gleick, Barbara Ehrenreich, Judy Blume and Meg Cabot, to name just a few.

    The public is invited to celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions at the February 16 reception.


    Saturday, February 18, 6-11 pm
    An Elegant Soiree in the Gardens at the Beautiful Home of Claudia Miller. Celebrate Five Stellar Years with The Studios of Key West. Tickets $150, Limited number available ($100 of ticket price is a tax-deductible donation to TSKW)


    The first time in 100 years that the Historic Armory’s Grand Hall will be used for a performance of this caliber. All ticket holders are invited to a sweet & savory champagne reception following the event.


    The garden surrounding the Historic Armory is a lushly landscaped intimate space that showcases outdoor sculpture installations. Visitors can come and relax, contemplate and enjoy newly installed work, or simply meet a friend to chat in a serene tropical, visually stimulating environment.
