What happens when art, photography, champagne and exciting Key West women collide for a night at Space 2 of TSKW? LAS BENDITAS DE KEY WEST!

The female models, “Las Benditas” are a select group of Key West women previously photographed by the author and reinterpreted in acrylic on canvas. Cubism & Neo-expressionism will be the provocative styles  used in the witty interpretation of their likeness. Their paintings will be unveiled to the women and to the public for the first time when they go on display at TSKW Space 2.

The colors used for the Benditas portraits are bold, vivid, and beautiful, just like the 21 models themselves!

About the artist

Michael A. Philip is an architectural photographer living in Key West. He has exhibited his photography and his paintings at the Studios of Key West, The Palm Beach Photographic Center and at the Kevin Gillentine Gallery in New Orleans.
