The Studios of Key West welcomes two talented, local musicians for a selection of favorite classical guitar pieces by J.S.Bach, Heitor-Villa Lobos, Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco and popular guitar/violin duets by Nicolo Paganini and Astor Piazzolla. This concert is packed with beautiful melodies and rhythms that you will carry home with you. Please join us for this one night only show.
Larry Abramovitz studied music with noted teacher Raphael Bronstein and Norman Carol, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Larry played for many years as a talented violinist with the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, was Concertmaster of the Forest Theatre Orchestra for 15 years and performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra for 7 years. His solo concerts include recitals at Lincoln Center.
Martina Bevis is a classical guitarist from Prague, Czech Republic. After being accepted into The Prague Conservatory of Music, she earned a Bachelors Degree under professor Vaclav Kucera. Martina has played classical guitar in Prague concert halls, as well as churches and castles all over Czech Republic.
