Heels For All (Performing in Heels) with Paula Ali (PEAR)
About the Class
Step into a pair of heels and discover how balance, posture and even instability can become tools for performance. Through breath work, improvisation and structured movement exercises, students will explore ways to generate character, emotion and narrative through the body. Blurring the lines between acting and dance, this playful, exploratory workshop is open to performers and curious movers of all experience levels.

About the instructor:
Paula Ali is a Persian American performer, director, and storyteller from Nashville, Tennessee. A BFA Musical Theatre graduate of Auburn University and CAP21 conservatory alum, she creates bold, movement-driven work that centers Femme-identifying people of color, body inclusivity, joy, and radical honesty.
Supply List:
Participants should bring a pair of heels they feel comfortable moving in.
