About the Class
Bring your photography portfolio for an in-depth critique with celebrated photographer Frank Stewart. Drawing on more than five decades of experience documenting Black American culture and his longtime role as lead photographer for Jazz at Lincoln Center, Stewart will offer thoughtful, constructive feedback to help photographers evaluate their work, strengthen their visual voice and consider where their practice might go next.

About the instructor:
Since 1992, Stewart has served as the lead photographer for Jazz at the Lincoln Center. He has been the focus of many solo exhibitions and has been included in numerous group exhibitions. In 2023, Stewart’s career retrospective, Frank Stewart’s Nexus: An American Photographer’s Journey, 1960s To the Present, was mounted in Washington, DC at the Phillips Collection.
