About the event
The Chain: Connection in the Florida Keys was created by PalmHeart Press to foster environmental stewardship through storytelling and community engagement. Join Books & Books for a multi-author event as contributors read excerpts of their work from the collection.
Featuring the poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction of 19 local contributors and 3 winners of the Palmheart Press Kids’ Poetry Contest, the collection offers a diverse range of voices and perspectives inspired by the local environment.
Registering ahead of time helps Books & Books to plan for a successful event but is not required. In the event that attendance reaches capacity registered guests will be seated first.

Books & Books @ The Studios is Key West’s locally owned, nonprofit neighborhood bookstore and a home for the island’s vibrant literary community.
