Fearlessly original and impossible to pin down, Erin McKeown has spent more than two decades breaking musical boundaries with sharp songwriting, inventive guitar work, and a sound entirely their own. Blending folk, rock, jazz, pop, and just about everything in between, McKeown brings wit, warmth, and a wonderfully unpredictable energy to every performance.
An internationally acclaimed musician, writer, and producer, McKeown has released 11 full-length albums and performed at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and Newport Folk Festival. Their talents extend well beyond the concert stage, too. Their first musical, Miss You Like Hell, written with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Quiara Alegría Hudes, premiered Off-Broadway at The Public Theater and earned five Drama Desk Award nominations. Their latest musical, OUT HERE, premiered in Chicago in 2026.
A familiar face at The Studios, McKeown was a 2016 artist in residence and continues to push creative boundaries with their latest album, KISS OFF KISS.
