The night sky gets personal in this two-evening intro to astronomy. Night one: a friendly, beginner-focused lecture. Night two: rooftop stargazing with telescopes and expert guidance. Expect planets, constellations, maybe even a galaxy or two.

About the instructor:
Larry Halstead is a retired aerospace engineer who earned his degree from the University of Michigan before serving in the U.S. Air Force and spending 32 years designing and testing jet engines. A Key West resident since 2008, he brings a lifelong curiosity about science, nature, and the world around us to his classes.
