View StoryFor sisters Brooklyn and Cali McChesney, summer means scripts, songs, dancing, and plenty of time onstage at Camp Bravo. But their mom, Angela, has watched that experience grow into something much bigger.
“They feel like this is home at The Studios,” she says. Camp introduced the girls to theater, but it also sparked a curiosity that follows them throughout the year—from exhibitions and performances to a newfound interest in learning piano.
Along the way, they’re building confidence, learning how a production comes together, and making friendships with kids from near and far.
For Angela, that’s why programs like Camp Bravo matter. “The Studios matters because arts matter.” By giving young people a place to create together, we’re helping nurture something that can last well beyond the final curtain: a lifelong love of the arts.
