Winter Members’ Exhibit: Let the Light In
Opens Thursday, December 3, 6-8pm
About the Exhibition
Light is how we see the world, and artists have employed it in ingenious ways since cave painters used firelight to bring bison hunts to life. Caravaggio staged his shadows for drama; Monet’s haystacks captured the shifting colors of seasons; and Rothko’s squares glow with interior light. For twenty years, The Studios has empowered artists to illuminate the world, and we invite our member artists to do so again this winter. Expect tropical sunsets, sunlight dappled through palms, and galleries filled with bright ideas.

For twenty years, The Studios of Key West has brought artists, audiences, and ideas together—creating space to make, share, experiment, and connect. This anniversary season, we celebrate the people and creative spirit that brought us here, while looking ahead to all that’s still to come.
Call to Artists
Artwork Drop-Off: Thu Nov 12 – Wed Nov 18, 10am-4pm (closed Sundays)
Terms: Must be an active member to enter, 1 entry per member, $25 entry fee. In the event of sales, the sale price is split 75% artist and 25% The Studios.
*Please note: photographs will be taken November 23 so any late drop offs will not be professionally photographed.
