Billy Kearins presents an evolving series built on one control image. Each work spanning drawings, sculpture, screenprints, furniture and more, keeps color and relative orientation consistent while exploring new media.

Intimate oil paintings bring the perspective of seeing the world through water indoors, where figures, animals, mirrors, aquariums and everyday objects take on a dreamlike quality.

Intricately stitched works pair human figures with flowers, toys, and other symbolic objects, recalling the spontaneous memorials that emerge in the wake of tragedy. Through these fabric portraits, Morgan embraces art as a form of activism, honoring grief and victims of violence.

Using bold color, dramatic light and expressive brushwork, familiar objects are transformed into energetic contemporary still lifes.
